4 ripe avocados, seeded and peeled
2 tblsp. lemon juice
1 clove garlic crushed
1 tomato, finely chopped
1/4 tsp. ground cumin
3 to 4 drops hot pepper sauce or oil
DIRECTIONS: With a fork, coarsely mash avocado with lemon juice and garlic. Stir in remaining ingredients and blend.. Serve with tortilla chips.
Note: To ripen avocados place in a brown bag and keep in warm, dry place. Do not refrigerate. To test for ripeness, apply a little pressure at the stem end; if it yields, it's ripe. Ole'
